What we do

What we do

Our PTA get-togethers have included everything from family-friendly outdoor escapades like our volunteering afternoon at the London Wildlife Trust to our amazing Autumn Fair in the school grounds, to pub quizzes and Burns Night celebrations for grown-ups only. As well as enabling everyone to meet up in a relaxed setting, the aim is also to raise funds with which we can support both extra-curricular initiatives organized by the Villa (for example inviting real life authors to speak to children as part of World Book Day) and also our two local charities. Parents, staff and anyone in our extended Villa family all get to nominate/vote on worthy local organisations and we aim to support them for two years at a time, building real, meaningful links to help them in their brilliant work.

Our Chosen Charities

Theatre Peckham, which encourages, supports and nurtures children and young people to discover the magic of theatre, and to develop their potential as young audiences, artists and theatre professionals of tomorrow.

London Wildlife Trust, which is dedicated to protecting London’s wildlife and wild spaces, engaging our diverse communities through free access to nature reserves, campaigning, volunteering and education. Locally these include Bellenden Road Nature Garden, New Cross Gate Cutting, Sydenham Hill Wood and the Centre For Wildlife Gardening in Peckham.
