This is a positive experience for the children which ensures an exciting process of discovery; leading to concentration, motivation, self-discipline and love of learning. The aim is to achieve learning success for each child as an individual, whether it is through support or extension work.
At The Villa we believe in early intervention. It may be some children need a little support with fine motor skills, phonics or emotional literacy and it is with the support from every adult in the school and you as parents that we can ensure that your child is a happy and confident learner. Communication is key.

Emotional Literacy Support
As well as valuing our children’s education we also value their wellbeing. We recognise that children learn better and are happier if their emotional needs are met.
At some time in our lives, we all experience worries and at The Villa we recognise the need to support our children through these difficult times.
Emotional literacy is having an understanding and being able to cope with feelings about ourselves and others. It develops high self-esteem and positive interactions with others!
The many interventions can cover social skills, emotions, bereavement, social stories and therapeutic stories, anger management, self-esteem and help with friendships!
