Nursery Fee Structure
Our Offer
The Nursery is open for 51 weeks of the year (closing for one week at Christmas, three staff training days per academic year) and bank holidays. Full fees will apply during these closures. The year is split into three termly invoices covering the following periods: September to December, January to April and May to August. Fees are collected monthly via direct debit or payable via tax-free childcare or childcare vouchers.
Our core hours are 9am – 4pm in which time we offer a broad and balanced curriculum and all consumables (e.g. pens, pencils) and lunch are included.
Our extended offer consists of breakfast club starting at 8am (includes breakfast) or 8.30am and tea either between 4.00pm – 5.00pm or 4.00pm – 6.00pm (both includes tea). These sessions are subject to availability.
Funded Hours
All three and four-year olds can access 570 funded hours from the term after their third birthday. The term dates for the purposes of determining eligibility are as follows:
- 1st September – 31st December
- 1st January – 31st March
- 1st April – 31st August
Children can access a maximum of 11.18 funded hours per week between our core hours of 9am to 4pm, over 51 weeks of the year. These funded hours are provided for free and the additional hours which your child attends will be chargeable. Breakfast and tea are charged separately. Please note that the funding is only for actual days attended therefore funding cannot be attributed in lieu of notice or absence. Children must be attending on head count day to qualify for the funding.
Funding is provided to The Villa for the place, therefore if a child leaves mid-way through a charging period, the remaining funding will be used to provide funded hours for a child who then joins the setting (the funding is not attached to a particular child). You will be asked to complete and sign a Southwark Parent Agreement and we will then apply for the funding on your behalf when they become eligible.

Pre-Preparatory Fees
The Villa School fees are £4,070 per term (£12,210 per annum). This includes: home cooked organic lunches, books and stationery, milk, fruit, swimming, French, music and sports coaching.
Please note that all fees are reviewed annually.
We currently participate in the 15 hour free funding for 3 to 4 year olds. We are not taking part in the 30 hour scheme. Please note that the free 30 hour provision is not a mandatory scheme for any setting and participation in all schemes are reviewed at least annually.
